Every girl, of all ages, will love this Mermaid Doll. Be creative and make her unique for anyone.


Night Sky

Cheryl will walk through the steps to make this stunning quilt using the Sidekick ruler and no Y Seams.

Scalloped Borders
Tired of "plain borders" ?  Learn how to turn that wonderful quilt into something spectacular by adding scalloped borders, the quick and easy way. 

Needle Turn Applique
  Saturday, May 21st,  9-12
A technique class on traditional needle-turn applique. Using the tip of your needle turn under the raw edge of the applique and slip stitch the applique to a background fabric. If you have slip stitched (invisible stitch) the binding on a quilt, you already know the stitch!


EQ7 Introduction
 Tuesday, May 24th,  6-8pm
Do you have EQ7 or EQ6? Do you use it? Do you want to learn how? Bring your Laptop with the program loaded and let's start creating! This is a Beginner to Advanced class. You will learn how the program works and what it can do. It's up to you as to how far you want to go. This class is a stepping stone to the next two classes in this series. If you have ever learned a computer program, you know it takes time for you to remember how it works and how you can utilize its capabilities. If you haven't taken a computer class and struggle with the EQ software, you will go home happy you decided to take this class!


Beginner Foundation Paper Piecing Saturday
, May 28th, 9-12
Learn the old age tradition of foundation piecing, this is the time to break out the stash ladies, the small forgotten pieces that you thought would come in handy one day is here. All you need is a little muslin and some pretty fabric to learn how our ancestors quilted back in the day. You will learn the technique, how to select and create a multitude of designs. During class you will create one complete block and have the ability to make a million more!

Help Wanted
Hoppin Bobbin is currently looking for several new team members. We are growing and looking for team members to grow with us.  Several Part-time positions are available.    We are looking for ladies who enjoy quilting and fabrics, to work in a fun atmosphere, expand their quilting skills and share their love of quilting with others.   Team members must be able to be on their feet for a 5-8 hour shift and lift a minimal of   40 lbs.  Basic quilting experience and general computer knowledge necessary.  Must be dependable, have own transportation and be self motivated.  Daytime and Evening shifts available.  Saturdays are required and scheduled on a rotating basis.

Sew In Days 
Every Tuesday and Friday from 10-5, Hoppin Bobbin hosts a Sew in Day.  Bring a project and all of your supplies and have a great day sewing with friends.  Bring a covered dish to share.  If you are planning on staying the day, please fill the parking spots in the rear of the building first.  This enables new customers to find parking in the front of the building.
