I can't believe that November is here already. Time seems to have blown by this past year. We are already celebrating our 1 year Anniversary in our new location and 8 years of being in business. Hard to believe! I would like to say thank you to all of you that have supported us over the years. It is because of you that I get to come to a job everyday, that I love, and to share your accomplishments with you, share my love and knowledge of quilting with you and watch beginners become accomplished quilters. Thank you to all of you. So, I think the best way to celebrate is to do a customer appreciation sale...........

Several weeks ago, I sent out, in our newsletter, a request for Donations for a charity sew. Wow! What a response you had for me! I was overwhelmed with the donations that came in for this fabulous group. So, I would like to say thank you to all of you who have donated fabrics, batting and quilting accessories, quilts and sewing time to the Faithful Fidgeting Friends Quilting Group from First Baptist Church in Elkton. (This group is making lap quilts for wheelchair bound residents and walker bags for residents, using a walker, at the Laurelwood Nursing Home.) They were all so appreciative of your kindness and generosity and I am sure the patients at Laurelwood will love all of the quilts that will be made from them. Thanks again for proving that Quilters are the best!

Wooly Lavendar Learn how to make Lavendar stems out of wool. Join Mary in this fun class! Everything is supplied and included in your class fee. All you need to do is show up with a smile! Thursday, November 8th from 6-8pm with Mary Annunziata This class is FULL, if you are interested, please let us know and we can try to schedule Mary for this one again. |

Galaxy Galaxy is a beautiful alternating block design using two types of blocks, one with a red star and one with a blue star. Because of the color placement and the different angles in the triangles, the interesting interlocking circles appear and the second star block disappears into the circles. It’s a fun optical illusion, easy to make and even easier to admire. Sharon will also have an additional setting option for a table topper available. Please take note: Hoppin Bobbin's cut off date for returning quilts for Christmas is November 10th. Quilts that are brought in after this date will be charged a $50.00 rush fee in order to have them quilted and returned before Christmas.

Sew In Days
Every Tuesday and Friday from 10-5, Hoppin Bobbin hosts a Sew in Day. Bring a project and all of your supplies and have a great day sewing with friends. Bring a covered dish to share.
